Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Franchise Termination Help collects, why, and what happens to it.

What we collect today

The contact form on this site is switched off. Nothing typed into it is sent, stored or read by anyone. The only information the site receives is the analytics described below, and any email you choose to send to team@franchiseterminationhelp.com.

Please do not send confidential information, such as your franchise agreement or the notice itself, by email. We cannot act on them and have no secure way to hold them.

Why we collect it

An email you send is used to reply to you and, where it points to an error, to correct the site. Analytics are used to see which pages are read. Neither is sold, and neither is used to advertise to you. We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice, so we do not assess anyone's situation.

Site analytics

Every page on this site loads a script from Cloudflare that reports that the page was viewed and how quickly it loaded. Cloudflare's own documentation describes it as collecting timing metrics through the browser's Performance API and says it does not collect visitors' personal data. What reaches us is counts, grouped by country, page path, referring site, device type, browser and operating system. Requesting that script, like requesting any file from any server, tells the server answering it your IP address.

If the form is opened later (intended policy)

This section describes what we intend to do. It is not in effect while the form is switched off, and this policy will be updated before the form opens.

  • The form would ask for your name, email, optional phone number, your state, the type of notice, the date on the notice, and anything you choose to write.
  • Your submission would go to one franchise law firm that advertises on this site, and only with your consent, given by an unticked checkbox separate from any terms that names the firm. The consent text says the firm pays this site a fixed advertising fee. The firm may contact you by phone, text or email only if you ask it to in that consent.
  • We would not sell or resell your details, and would not send them to a second practice.
  • We would delete the submission after delivery, within 30 days. California residents can ask what personal information we hold and ask for its deletion by emailing us.
  • You could withdraw consent at any time by emailing team@franchiseterminationhelp.com.
  • The form would ask you not to include confidential documents. Anything you type may still include sensitive business information, which is why consent would be asked for before sending.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or raise a concern, by emailing team@franchiseterminationhelp.com.
